Spider-Man Drivers Test
Lauded as "so authentic it felt like a deleted scene" by Marvel, this co-branded Spider-Man short film became the #1 most liked (YouTube) piece of content Audi had ever created. It was so adored by fans that Marvel included the ad, without media fee, as a DVD extra.
Audi teased the release of their new A8 by debuting it in 2018’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. But they needed a way to drive excitement outside of the main film. To achieve Audi’s goal, and appease the Spider-Man loving masses, we created this short film focusing around teenaged Peter Parker getting his driver’s license. Alongside Tom Holland, we cast JB Smoove in the role of his driving instructor. Marvel liked this spot so much, they included it as extra content on the DVD. And on top of that, they gave Mr. Smoove a part in the next Spider-Man film – playing basically the same role we created for him.
Spider-Man Science Fair
For the second iteration of the new Spider-Man series, Audi and Marvel teamed up to present the freshly released E-tron. The short film was viewed over 15M times in the first 6 months and went on to be named the #7 most viewed ad on YouTube that year.
Peter Parker is a Superhero, but he’s also a high school student. It’s a tough balancing act, something that’s explored in the film Spider-Man: Far From Home. At the same time, Audi is involved in a balancing act of their own, moving from their gas-powered past to a more electric future. When Audi and the Spider-Man franchise approached us to continue their relationship, we knew we had to balance both.
In our short film “Science Fair,” Peter and his best friend Ned find themselves competing against the most incredible science projects in all of New York - from cold fusion cold brew coffee to a potato arc reactor. The boys quickly realize their own project needs a boost, so Peter calls in a favor that only Spider-Man can: borrowing a covert Audi asset from an undisclosed government agency.
Captain Marvel: The Debrief
Created to tap into the pre-release fervor of Avengers 4, this Captain Marvel short film had to adhere to such strict secrecy regulations we didn’t actually know if what we were creating fit MCU cannon. Thankfully, fans and viewers didn’t either and it went on to be viewed over 35M times.
